This highly tolerant multi-functional home treatment cleanser delivers the benefits of super active ingredients within a technology platform used in medical wound therapy, ensuring that everything gets to the right skin layers and that it does not compromise the skin’s integrity in any way. HOW DOES WOUND HEALING HELP IN SKIN CARE:
Osmolight base is composed of a mesh of polymers (PEG-8, PMMA, acrylate/C10-30 alkyl acrylate cross polymer, sodium polyacrylate) into which glycerol and a fatty alcohol are included.
Mode of Action
- By having an osmolarity much higher than human tissue, the product, when applied to skin, “pulls” body fluids from the lower skin areas, from the dermal blood vessels to the surface layers of the epidermis: they induce a transcutaneous flow. The proprietary technology platform is based on the principle of osmotic negative pressure, or NEGATIVE PRESSURE WOUND THERAPY (NPWT)
- The transcutaneous flow leads to a natural and physiological type of hydration of the stratum corneum (the outer layer of the epidermis), directly from internal Dermis.
- By generating the outward flow, the product additionally washes out inflammatory agents, which explains their anti-inflammatory and anti-oedema
